NHL
You know I really hate no NHL hockey this year. Recently I was thinking that the only one this strike effects is the fans but further thought and talking to friends you know it effects a lot of people and businesses. Yes it does affect the fans but it also affects the hotels and the travel industry. Now I know there is other sports that people can go to but in some markets there is no other major sport to go too and watch. It affects the TV companies like the CBC/Canadian broadcasting company. It affects the owners the Camera crews and the entertainment industry such as the local bars and restronts and the merchandise stands and the people in the arenas that work there and to a greater affect it effects the players. They are not playing so they are not getting paid. I think this strike is stupid and here is why. These guys are making millions of dollars for a sport that most people pay hundreds or maybe thousands of dollars to play. Now before I thought that if the owners are making millions why shouldn’t the players make that too? But infact the owners are actually losing a lot of money. Also this is why it coasts an arm and a leg to go to a game witch I think is wrong. I think the players should stop being so greedy and take a bit of a pay cut. The game of hockey is really suffering I think some big changes have to be made financially and rules kneed to be changed as well. I think they should make the ice size bigger. But I think all of professional athletes are over paid I think doctors and teachers and police and firemen should make what they make and the athletes should make less. But on the other hand maybe they deserve a little more money because they are the best at what they do but they should not make ridiculous amounts of money. All I know is I’m a big hockey and wrestling fan and I’m wishing for some NHL hockey and some good wrestling The wrestling world is not what it was a while ago but that is another topic for another day. Maybe I will get out to see the spitfires the local OHL team and for any hockey fan I suggest you find some local hockey action to go and check out. I’m done for now I will try and be around more often sorry to the three people that check out this sight just joking maybe next time I will talk about wrestling in till than keep on rocking and go spits.

He's back! Yeah, it pisses me off when they make so much money and then they're boohooing because they didn't get a raise? A raise? I think they should wait until the average income rises to their level and then they can ask for a raise. Until then, shut up babies!

And I don't think it's hurting them too much that they're not being paid...unless they haven't saved, oh, hmmm, even 1% of their earnings. God I think we could live for life on one season of their pay.

And don't forget, a lot of them are getting paid because they're playing in European leagues or somewhere else. They're getting paid less, but they're still getting paid.

And comparing wrestlers pay to hockey players pay isn't really fair. Most wrestlers, especially these days aren't getting their fair share when you really stop and look at it. A lot of them get lowballed on their contracts if they can even get contracts at all and then they're expected to pay a bunch of their own costs on the road while the boss's keep most of the money for themselves even though they've never had to take a bump. The difference is that wrestlers don't have a union, and most other sports do.

I want to see some good hockey and some good wrestling. Both would be nice. IF you want to see some good wrestling though, start watching TNA. Their last PPV was awesome. And Raw is getting better too.

And you don't have to apologize to me for what you wrote, they're your thoughts. If I wanted to read what I thought all the time I'd just read my own site.

Well there have b been quite a few good matches lately and they're actually starting to book things that people want to see, things that are actually interesting and make you want to stay tuned. The kind of shows with good characters and action that used to make me get pissed off when people would call me on the phone during the shows. The type of stuff that used to be so good that I'd flip out when hockey would be shown instead of it. That hasn't really happened lately, not for a long time actually.
